"Bira Dantas!
I had a meeting with a company which organizes comic and art exhibitions in Korea today
They launched international Cartoon & Art Festival (ICAFE) in 2011 and at their first edition, they showed
Jean-Jacques Sempe- famous french cartoonist, Le petit Nicolas- special exhibition
And as of this year, 2012, they brought Tezuak Osamu, the greatest comic artists from Japan
and the father of astro boy(Atom) for their special exhibition
You can see their information at website below,
i'm sorry this company don't have their english website by now, so please check this article first
http://www.worknplay.co.kr/korea-event/arts-performances/2162/jean-jacques-sempeacute-special-exhibition
http://www.worldyannews.com/news/articleView.html?idxno=1806
And I explained my plan to visit Latin America and they showed interest in having an exhibition with works
from Latin America
But as you know well, it depends on some conditions:
First, their works should be impressive, creative and most of all representative of their countries
or Latin America to Korean audiences first and I think it's the basic rule of exchanging cultures
between countries
And this project can be composed of two ways. one is a special exhibition of some famous artists in Latin
like Tezuak Osamu special exhibition, the other is a group exhibition of some country like Brasilian comics chronicles from 19xx to 2012
So I will try to meet many artists at there more than my earlier expectation and will have talks with them
and get their profile as much as I can and that means I have no choice but to skip famous landscapes this time
cause I need to concentrate on meeting artists during this time
And to avoid any misunderstanding or confusion,
the final decision will be made by the president in that company but I will try hard to make it possible
Wow... just 2 weeks left before I arrive in Latin America
Meet my friends at there soon
Thanks a lot
Regards"

"Hello Bira Dantas
Thanks for your e-mail again :)
First, I will arrive in Sao Paulo on 2nd of March 10: 25 AM and stay there about 6 days
and will move to Brasilia, staying there 1 or 2 days and go to Rio de Janeiro and hope to stay there 6 days
and finally go to Curitiba and go to Uruguay :)
(In sao paulo and brasilia, i will use couch surfing system, i alreay got host's admission
2 days in Sao paulo and 1 day in Brasilia, i will stay at host's room, what do you think about couch surfing?)
But exact schedule/plan can be changed due to my local conditions
That means,
if i have to meet more artists than my previous expectations, i will meet them first and will skip some places ^^"
For examples
If there are many artists in Sao Paulo, i will stay there more than 6 days and next schedule will be arranged again
And my whole travel plan is like this below
Brasil - Uruguay - Paraguay - Argentina - Chille - Bolivia - Peru - Columbia - Cuba about 80 days
I already sent e-mail to aritists in each countries and hope to meet them all during my travel period
It sounds crazy but i will try to finish my travel schedule above successfully :)
Hope to meet you there soon and have talks a lot at there
Thanks
Regards"

"Hello Bira Dantas
I do really appreciate of your big help since last year
Without your help, i can't even think of meeting lots of artists in your country
And as you might guess, this travel to Latin America was originated from you :)
I was deeply impressed by you in Bucheon last year and that made me fly to Latin America this time
I owed you too much
Thanks a lot again
And may i ask you something again?
I will go to Rio de Janeiro and hope to meet artists at there also
but don't have enough information about artists in Rio de Janeiro
So if your time permits, would you let me know some information please
And i will check the blog below carefully
Thanks a lot again
Regards"

O CATALOGO
